PURPOSE OF STORING PERSONAL DATA

Nesfjellet Alpin AS offers its services to both private individuals and companies, over the phone, via email, and chat. The minimum personal data we need to respond to inquiries is a name and an email address. To deliver services to our customers, we create customer profiles, and it is for these profiles that we collect personal data. Nesfjellet Alpin AS expects any business customer to have obtained consent from their employees to be registered in our systems.

WHO IS THE DATA CONTROLLER?

Nesfjellet Alpin AS, through its general manager, is the data controller for the personal data we process in connection with the use of our websites and services, or when you contact us in other ways.

We have a legal basis to process personal data under Section 8 of the Norwegian Personal Data Act and Article 7 of the EU Data Protection Directive 95/46/EC, both because the processing of personal data is necessary to fulfill orders and respond to inquiries (Personal Data Act §8 a) and Data Protection Directive Article 7 b)).

In order to offer our services, we need basic personal details. In some cases, a name and email are sufficient, while in others we need more information to assist you, such as an address and phone number.

We use common internet technologies, including Google Analytics, to collect information about users so that we can ensure the best possible functionality and further develop the information provided on the website. This information is collected from the user’s browser and is anonymized. Examples of what the statistics reveal include how many people visit various pages, how long the visits last, and which websites visitors come from.

Information will be deleted no later than one year after a user is no longer considered an active user of our website and services. Personal data related to invoicing is stored separately and secured for 10 years in accordance with accounting regulations.


WHO DO WE SHARE DATA WITH?

Unless you have given specific consent for disclosure, your personal data will only be disclosed to others where this is necessary to fulfill our contractual obligations.

We also share personal data with our subcontractors, and potentially with public authorities if there is a statutory obligation to disclose.

Personal data sent via contact forms is stored in our web system. The web system and its servers are mainly located in America (USA).

If Nesfjellet Alpin AS processes personal data about you, you have the right to access your own data. If the data is incorrect, incomplete, or cannot legally be processed, you may also request that Nesfjellet Alpin AS correct the data. We do not process or store data about you longer than necessary for the intended purpose or as required by agreements and within legal limits. We will delete personal data when a user notifies us that they no longer wish to use the service.
