Second season with Nesfjellet Bike Park - Development continues

When Nesfjellet Bike Park opened in the summer of 2025, it marked the start of a new investment in summer activities at Nesfjellet. Now Bike Parken is entering its second season, and the development continues.

All our existing trails are open, and both new and returning guests can experience flow trails, technical sections and the Gravity Zone for the little ones. The park is adapted for the whole family, whether you are cycling for the first time or have many hours on the bike from before.

We build on

While the Bike Park is open throughout the summer, we are constantly working to develop the facility. During the season, we build a completely new trail, as well as a new downhill trail.

The red trail is now ready for the season, and later this summer our brand new downhill trail will also open. The goal is to be completed by Nesfjellet Gravelduro on 5 September, where we look forward to showing off the latest additions to the Bike Park.

The Bike Park is a long-term project, and we will continue to develop the area with new trails and experiences in the years to come.

More than just cycling

A visit to the Bike Park is about more than cycling. At the base of the facility you will find the tent, where you can buy food, ice cream and drinks, rent bicycles and get information about the area.

Close by is also our new playground with trampolines, climbing frames, swings and slide, a popular area for the youngest. If you want more activities, you can try our new 9-hole disc golf course, which winds through the forest by the children's slope.

For those who want to develop their cycling skills, we also offer cycling courses, private lessons and guided tours throughout the summer. Whether you want to learn basic technique, become more confident on jumps and experience Hallingspranget with a guide, there is an offer to suit.

This is just the start

The Bike Park is an important part of the development of Nesfjellet as a year-round destination. We will continue to build new trails and develop the area in the years to come, so that both new and returning guests have something new to experience. Together with the golf course, frisbee golf course, playground, hiking trails and the many activities in the mountains, we want to create experiences that make guests stay longer and want to come back.

We are looking forward to a new summer in Nesfjellet Bike Park and hope to see both new and familiar faces on the bike.

New red technical downhill course is now open

Throughout the summer, we have been working on developing a brand new red technical downhill trail in Nesfjellet Bike Park, and now it is finally ready for cycling.

The trail starts from the top of the bike lift. When you get off the lift, follow the road to the left towards Rødegård. The entrance to the trail is on the right side of Rødegård, on the sunny side, and is clearly marked with red sticks.

The new course offers a more technical riding experience than our other flow courses, with natural elements, varied terrain and challenges that are well suited for experienced cyclists who want to develop their skills.

This is just one of several news this season. At the same time, work continues on our new downhill trail, which is scheduled to be ready for Nesfjellet Gravelduro on 5 September.

We look forward to hearing what you think about the new trail.
