Welcome to Trollset Lodge – a cozy mountain paradise on Nesfjellet, where modern style meets the timeless charm of a traditional cabin. Built in 2020, the cabin combines elegant interiors, carefully selected materials, and beautiful details to create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. From the moment you enter, you'll feel right at home, surrounded by warmth and comfort – the perfect setting for a peaceful mountain stay with family and friends.
 
Trollset Lodge is a beautiful and spacious cabin over two floors, providing the ideal setting for relaxation, togetherness, and memorable experiences in the mountains. The inviting living room features a fireplace, comfortable sofas, and Smart TV, making it a perfect place to gather and relax after a day of outdoor activities. Large windows let in plenty of natural light and frame the beautiful mountain scenery, allowing you to enjoy the scenery outside from the cabin's sheltered interior. The dining area has seating for eight people, as well as an extra cozy bench, creating a pleasant place to share good meals, have long conversations, and spend quiet evenings with family and friends.
 
The modern and well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to make cooking a fun and enjoyable part of your stay. With a dishwasher, fridge and freezer, coffee maker and Nespresso machine, you have everything you need at hand to prepare tasty meals and enjoy a cup of freshly brewed coffee at any time. Whether you're making breakfast before heading out into the mountains, or preparing a delicious dinner to share with family and friends, the kitchen is a welcoming place to cook, chat and enjoy time together.
 
Stay connected with free Wi-Fi and watch your favorite shows and movies on your Smart TV during your stay. The cottage also has a washer and dryer, providing extra comfort and making it easy to feel at home, even during extended stays.
 
With cosy sleeping quarters for up to nine guests, Trollset Lodge is the perfect place to gather family and friends for an unforgettable mountain holiday. Sleeping places
Trollset Lodge offers comfortable sleeping places for up to 9 guests, divided into several bedrooms and sleeping areas on the second floor. The sleeping places are distributed as follows:
 
Bedroom 1: Double bed
Bedroom 2: Family bed (bunk bed with wide lower bunk)
Bedroom 3: Double bed
Bedroom 4: 2 single beds

Trollset Lodge is a place where you can lower your shoulders, find peace with your loved ones and enjoy the small moments that make your mountain holiday truly unforgettable.

Practical information
 
Consumables such as toilet paper, soap, matches, candles, coffee, coffee capsules and the like are not included in the stay and must be brought by the guests.
 
Bed linen and towels are not included, but can be rented via Nesfjellet Booking. A pre-booked bed linen package includes sheets, duvet covers and pillowcases, as well as one large and one small towel per person.
 
There is plenty of firewood in the cabin on arrival. If you need more during your stay, you must either get this yourself or buy it via Nesfjellet Booking.
 
The cabin is equipped with a Nespresso machine. You are welcome to bring your own Nespresso capsules if you wish to use it.
 
Cleaning is included in your stay, so you can end your holiday and return home without having to clean the cabin yourself.
 
In winter, we recommend using good winter tires and having tire chains with you, as weather and road conditions in the mountains can change quickly.
 
Inside the cabin you will find a QR code that links to an information sheet. We recommend reading this both on arrival and before departure.
 
Location and activities
 
Trollset Lodge has a fantastic location on Nesfjellet, with easy access to a wide range of activities all year round. During the winter months, you can explore the area's great cross-country skiing trails or visit Nesfjellet Alpin, a family-friendly ski resort with 15 slopes, ski rental and ski school.
 
Summer offers good opportunities for both hiking and cycling. Nesfjellet Bike Park offers cycling with lift assistance, and the area by the ski resort also has a playground, trampoline area and a 9-hole disc golf course.
 
Nesfjellet Golf is also nearby. Here you will find a great 9-hole mountain golf course with a driving range, practice greens and a golf café. For cycling enthusiasts, Hallingspranget is a highlight – a 17-kilometre-long "flow trail" that takes you from the top of Nesfjellet all the way down to the centre of Nesbyen.
 
Nesfjellet is also a great starting point for day trips to several of Hallingdal's popular family attractions. Langedrag Nature Park is about 30 minutes away, Bjørneparken in Flå is about 45 minutes away, and Tropicana Water Park in Gol is around 40 minutes away. These are approximate driving times, in line with the information in previous cabin descriptions.
