Solsikten is a modern cabin completed in 2021.
Perfect for families with children, the cabin is located in a family-friendly cabin area with a cross-country ski trail starting right outside the door. The interior has been carefully and stylishly furnished, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. With a Sonos sound system throughout the cabin, you can truly set the mood. After a long day outdoors, the whole family can gather around the fireplace to enjoy the warmth. The outdoor area is particularly child-friendly, as it is fenced, flat, and well-equipped.
 
The cabin is wonderfully situated, with immediate proximity to both cross-country ski trails and Nesfjellet Alpin, a ski resort that features one of Scandinavia's most impressive chairlifts. Additionally, it is just a stone's throw away from one of Norway's finest high-altitude golf courses. The cross-country ski trail is only a few meters from the cabin.
 
From the cabin, you have immediate access to mountain biking terrain, and a short drive will take you to Hallingspranget, a spectacular 17 km flow trail for mountain biking. This makes the cabin a great starting point for a family vacation, both in summer and winter. Langedrag is a 30-minute drive from the cabin, Bjørneparken in Flå is 45 minutes away, and Tropicana Water Park in Gol is 40 minutes away.
On the ground floor, there is a shared living room and kitchen with seating for ten people around the dining table. The spacious living room has large windows and great views, as well as a fireplace. On the second floor, there is a TV room. The cabin includes a full bathroom with a sauna and an additional toilet. There is a large terrace at the front of the cabin.
 
The cabin has 4 spacious bedrooms:
Bedroom 1 contains a large double bed for two adults (180cm).
Bedroom 2 contains a family bunk bed with a 120 cm lower bunk and a 90 cm upper bunk.
Bedroom 3 contains a double bed for two adults (160cm).
Bedroom 4 contains two single beds.
Extra bed in the loft-livingroom area can be available (150 cm)
 
Good to know:
Consumables such as matches, candles, coffee filters, toilet paper, soap, etc., are not included and must be brought by the tenant.
Firewood is included.
Cleaning is included in the price.
A high chair is available in the cabin.
Child-friendly plates/cutlery are available.
Check-in is after 4 pm.
Check-out is before 11 am.
